The Phones are Fixed!

If you call 313-861-0363 or 313-861-0364 you can now get through to a person or leave a message.  Whew.

Today was a long day.  AT&T came at 8am as promised.  The problem with 861-0363 took them until noon to find and fix.  It was a cable chewed by a squirel between Holmur and Quincy.  Meanwhile, our Panasonic "KX-whatever Advanced Hybrid System" has been consigned to the island of misfit PBX systems.

The Island of Misfit PBX phones is on the basement floor behind the laundry tub.  The new phones are an Att small business system with enough features for a parish of our size.

Below is a picture of one of our new phones and a picture of the "Island of Misfit PBX systems", with remnants of the old Att Spirit system and the Panasonic Hybrid system that can no longer stand between us and our parishioners.

And, as of Tuesday of Christmas week, so is the internet!

As of January 2, 2010, the Stork's Nest phone line is once again dedicated to their use as we wait for Att to fix our fax line.
